Youth Unity - Our Values

Youth Unity CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people and adults affected by issues such as group violence, drug abuse, and exploitation, including human trafficking, child sexual exploitation (CSE), and extremism. We collaborate closely with statutory organisations, commissioned services, and charities to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions.

Our mission focuses on improving opportunities for disadvantaged youth, believing that enhancing their overall health and well-being empowers them to make better-informed decisions. We offer mentoring, workshops, and training for young people, professionals, parents, and carers, all designed to foster resilience and informed choices.

At Youth Unity, we are committed to the principles of fairness and individuality, ensuring that every young person is treated with respect, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ability, or background. Our core belief is that by recognising and nurturing everyone’s unique potential, we can better prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of adulthood.

Our approach is grounded in our “Prevent, Prepare, and Protect” strategy. We Prevent harm by addressing risk factors early on, Prepare young people by equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate life safely, and Protect them from exploitation by fostering a supportive and informed community.

Overall, our primary objective is to help young individuals thrive and realise their full potential, ensuring they are ready to face whatever lies ahead. Through our cohesive and compassionate approach, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

We focus on improving opportunities for all, especially young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our overall belief is that by helping to improve the overall health and well-being of an individual they can make better informed choices and decisions.

We offer mentoring, workshops and training for young people, professionals, parents and carers.

Our core belief revolves around ensuring that every young person is treated fairly and as a unique individual, regardless of factors such as age, gender, race, religion, ability, or background.

As an organisation, our primary objective is to facilitate the thriving and realisation of the full potential of young individuals, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their adult lives.
