Mobile outreach, trusted mentoring and real routes into work for young people across Epping Forest.
THRIVE Epping is a three-year programme delivering visible, street-based outreach and trusted one-to-one mentoring for young people aged 10–25 across Epping Forest. We take support directly into the places young people gather — estates, parks, town centres and known hotspot areas — rather than waiting for them to come to us.
The aim is simple: help young people stay safe, build confidence and plan positive futures, while making public spaces feel safer and calmer for the whole community. Our work is early, relationship-led and trauma-informed, with clear routes into education, training and employment.
Outcomes are tracked at entry and exit using recognised wellbeing measures (WEMWBS, SPS, RSES) and our case-management system.
Placeholder figures — these update as delivery progresses through 2026–2028.
Detached youth work taking trusted adults into the community.
A trauma-informed Community Navigator working alongside each young person.
