Youth Unity CIC is a “not for profit” organisation established to provide effective help and support to vulnerable young people and adults affected by group violence (gangs), drugs and other forms of exploitation such as human trafficking, CSE and extremism. We work in collaboration with statutory organisations, commissioned services and charities to provide a more cohesive approach to solutions. We focus on improving opportunities for all, especially young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our overall belief is that by helping to improve the overall health and well-being of an individual they can make better informed choices and decisions.We offer mentoring, workshops and training for young people, professionals, parents and carers.

Our core belief revolves around ensuring that every young person is treated fairly and as a unique individual, regardless of factors such as age, gender, race, religion, ability, or background.As an organisation, our primary objective is to facilitate the thriving and realisation of the full potential of young individuals, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their adult lives.Through collaborative endeavours with diverse stakeholders, Youth Unity CIC strives to diminish vulnerability and safeguard local communities, in line with the Government's strategy.

  I'm a youth worker from North West London. I was looking to hire a mobile recording studio to come down to our youth centre for a project. Someone recommended Youth Unity who manage the Unity Hub, so I got in touch with their founder and managing director Shirley. From the first phone call I knew I'd found the right project partner. We worked together for six sessions to deliver some brilliant music and podcasting projects with young people from our centre. Shirley, Paul and the team came down every week with energy, enthusiasm and creativity. They really inspired our young people and created lasting memories, and together we smashed the outcomes for our initial project. We cant wait to work with them again soon!

The youth engagement programme we ran in partnership with them, ‘Point of View’, is a best practice case study of how community organisations can work with developers to create opportunities that generate social value outcomes for young people. Youth Unity were an exceptional partner to work with in their organisation of the project, compassion, and passion for the young people, and understanding of our remit and social value agenda as a developer. The project also spanned across engagement with our supply chain, and Youth Unity were able to adapt to understand and meet the requirements of each of our supply chain partners, from health and safety matters through to privacy and data obligations.
