We are committed to collecting and sharing stories in a safe, respectful, and legally compliant way.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1101\">This policy explains how we obtain consent for film, photography, audio, and written stories featured across the project.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1134\"><strong data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1134\">1. Informed Consent<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1318\">We only publish media (film, interviews, photographs, audio clips, artwork, or written content) when individuals have given <strong data-start=\"1259\" data-end=\"1290\">informed, voluntary consent<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1294\" \/>Participants are told:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1509\">\n<li data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1346\">\n<p data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1346\">What the content is for<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1414\">\n<p data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1414\">Where it will appear (website, social media, print, screenings)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1449\">\n<p data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1449\">That participation is optional<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1509\">\n<p data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1509\">That they can withdraw their consent before publication<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1574\">For participants under 18, we use age-appropriate explanations.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1612\"><strong data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1612\">2. Consent for Under-16s<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1816\">In line with safeguarding requirements, <strong data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1685\">parental or guardian consent<\/strong> is obtained for anyone under the age of 16.<br data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1732\" \/>No child\u2019s image, story, or voice is used publicly without a signed permission form.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1850\"><strong data-start=\"1826\" data-end=\"1850\">3. Right to Withdraw<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"2040\">Participants may withdraw consent at any point <strong data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"1929\">before content is published<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1933\" \/>After publication, we will remove content from the website or digital platforms where technically possible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"2092\">Requests can be made via:<br data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2070\" \/>???? admin<a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2092\">@youthunity.org<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2138\"><strong data-start=\"2102\" data-end=\"2138\">4. Sensitive Content &amp; Anonymity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2233\">Some stories include personal, emotional, or sensitive themes.<br data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2204\" \/>Participants may choose to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2351\">\n<li data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2254\">\n<p data-start=\"2236\" data-end=\"2254\">remain anonymous<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2255\" data-end=\"2284\">\n<p data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2284\">use only their first name<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2351\">\n<p data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2351\">be represented only through audio, silhouette, or written form<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2393\">We respect all confidentiality requests.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2400\" data-end=\"2427\"><strong data-start=\"2403\" data-end=\"2427\">5. Ownership &amp; Usage<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2428\" data-end=\"2617\">As set out in the project agreement, all media produced for Loud &amp; Local is <strong data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2521\">jointly owned<\/strong> by Youth Unity CIC, Write Back, Green Shoes Arts, and the London Borough of Barking &amp; Dagenham.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2619\" data-end=\"2643\">Media may be used for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2790\">\n<li data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2665\">\n<p data-start=\"2646\" data-end=\"2665\">project reporting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2690\">\n<p data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"2690\">community engagement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2691\" data-end=\"2705\">\n<p data-start=\"2693\" data-end=\"2705\">screenings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"2745\">\n<p data-start=\"2708\" data-end=\"2745\">educational or promotional purposes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2746\" data-end=\"2790\">\n<p data-start=\"2748\" data-end=\"2790\">digital publication (website\/social media)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2792\" data-end=\"2852\">Third-party use is not permitted without written permission.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2859\" data-end=\"2884\"><strong data-start=\"2862\" data-end=\"2884\">6.
